11th June, 2017 - the fraggle rock
I've booked an AirBnB in Sarasota, Florida for an upcoming roadtrip. My lovely bride and I will motor most of the length of I-10 to I-75 in Florida to pick up our middle daughter. She's been participating in YWAM since January, spending time in Florida, then Kenya, and will be back in Florida soon.I have one vital goal for the trek - a good photo of The Fraggle Rock.
The Fraggle Rock is just West of Lordsburg, New Mexico. It's not the most scenic area, so I'm not even sure a compelling photo is possible, but I'm going to give it a try. With luck, the sky will be moody with clouds, and I can make a faux long exposure to create some drama in the image. I did that with this shot of the Goodyear Blimp.I used a motion blur (in paint.net) on the clouds to increase the a sense of time and movement. The photo was taken, appropriately, at the Goodyear, AZ airport.
